PNotes is an excellent free note taking tool which can help you keep on top of things by organizing to-do lists and keeping track of schedules.
The program itself will run from the system tray and can be stored anywhere on your hard drive or portable USB device since it is completely portable.
Many of the main features of PNotes are built for ease-of-use. That goes for searching, creating, copying and even spell-checking saved items. Notes can be created as just plain text or may also include rich formatting similar to a Microsoft Word document: bold, italics, smiley, colors and more.
The control panel of PNotes can help you customize many of the elements present in the program and provide a ton of different settings to customize the appearance of the program such as applying custom skins or adjusting the transparency. The control panel interface is very similar to that of Mozilla Firefox. It provides tabs to access settings for appearance, skins, schedule, docking, behavior, protection (encryption), diary, network and miscellaneous.
Running PNotes had no ill effects on system resources and ran well without any technical issues or crashes.
All in all, this is certainly a nicely done sticky note program which includes all of the best features from both shareware and freeware applications in its category. Highly recommended for those with a busy schedule and a knack for customization.PNotes features and highlights:
